Did I ever mention that I hate weaving? Bloody fingers from aged metal heddles, lost crosses in the dye bath, and slipped warp stitches make flying an airplane exponentially easier and a whole lot more fun! Yet, as a fiber artist, I must “make peace” with weaving.
Mission accomplished!!! Woven glass fibers and knotted threads banked with shadows of weaving sarcastically pay tribute to the ancient craft.
