Storm Clouds Rising

19″h x 28″w
Robeson Anton rayon embroidery thread, dryer lint, ribbon

It’s that midsummer day you remember from when you were a kid. Grey clouds loomed, that distinctive smell of rain was in the air, the refreshingly cooler air brushed your shoulders… And finally they come: the tiny smacks of raindrops on the sidewalk as the water pelleted down.

It was fun to watch the rain…. And always they came – those beautiful, radiantly blue skies – announcing the storm had passed and brighter moments lie ahead.
