Spread the love

38″h x 17’w
Rayon embroidery thread, water soluble substrate

Colors unfolds as a landscape of memory and emotion—stitched entirely from thread, yet alive like a living horizon. At its crown, soft blues and whites drift like passing clouds, giving way to violet shadows and the warm glow of golden light breaking across the horizon. Below, deep greens, umbers, and earth tones settle quietly, grounding the composition in a place we somehow recognize, even if we cannot name it.

It feels like standing at the edge of day and night—where storms pass, the sun returns, and the earth exhales. Every subtle shift in color becomes a terrain of its own: sky, light, soil, and shadow layered in delicate fiber.

This work portrays not just the landscape outside us, but the one within: the storms we weather, the ground we return to, and the light we wait for that always, eventually, finds its way back.
