Genesis….the beginning. Emerging. Hardness and harshness challenge delicacy and fragility. The erosion of the old verses the eruption of the new. Nature gives us Her own color palette to experience, one little sliver at a time or through the eye of a sparrow. Such is the Genesis of new life after loss. The methaphors of this work are deeply personal as I experimented with a whole new world and life. Parts of my old world stand — they will always be there, solid as a rock. Little by little other parts erode as new memories build within the flow of life.
