I am so happy to tell you that the Lee Myles/Genesis Automotive Reception Area is now complete! Well, complete except for the desk and the coffee bar which will come a little later, after Jodi and Darren and I catch our breath! :):) I’m sure that Jodi will post pictures of the new look sans counter clutter, but I couldn’t wait to show you. This is how it looked when I left last evening:
The chandelier found a home over the printing station, away from the heads of the really tall guys that work at the shop. :):) The place turned out so beautifully, and we all are so very proud!!!
So back to REAL fiber work today. Here’s a sneak peak of what is in the hoop:
Dryer lint joins the sandbox with thread and painted Tyvek. This is so much fun!!! Still loving this process so much! I’ve been especially inspired by the pictures taken by son Charles on a hike this summer and Phillip Ball’s trilogy in books: Nature’s Patterns, a tapestry in three parts. Ball translates nature with mathematics. I am totally fascinated!!! (I bet you are really surprised about that now, aren’t you? :):))
Here’s to a great Monday and a great week!
